Lea Naisberg, SMLXL
Teaches Experimentation
Lea Naisberg is a graphic designer at SMLXL Barcelona. Her practice embraces playfulness and experimentation, pushing typography and visual systems into unexpected directions. She plays a key role in the studio’s digital work, helping the team explore new possibilities and develop more open-ended and unconventional approaches. She is also the founder of Creative Coding NYC.
SMLXL is a full-service design company based in New York and Barcelona. Our projects range from large-scale visual identity systems for sports events to designs for small bookstores, including a cover for The New York Times Magazine and Seth Rogen’s Houseplant packaging. We aim to influence contemporary visual culture while providing meaningful solutions for brands and individuals.
Our approach combines strategic thinking with contextual research, but we believe exceptional projects also evoke wonder through intuitive and playful sensibility. Our network of expert collaborators expands our capabilities, ensuring technical precision for every project.
“At SMLXL we try to challenge, confront and push the brief, the client or even ourselves to unexplored paths, that brings us the opportunity to find new results to create unique results.”
