Nacho Padilla

Nacho Padilla is currently responsible for branding and advertising at Renfe. Long before this he studied Advertising at UCM and started working at Contrapunto BBDO as a copywriter, from there he went on to work at McCann and returned to Contrapunto to stay for 10 more years as creative director. He then founded a studio, Viernes, focused on eco-social projects. After 6 years, he became the creative director of the Madrid City Council, and then of the Barcelona City Council.
During all this time he has worked as copywriter, consultant or creative director for different projects and brands: Oxfam, Schweppes, El País, WWF, Telefónica, Coca Cola, Pepsico, Canal Plus, Google, Paradores, El Corte Inglés, La Casa Encendida, Ministries of Labor, Culture, Environment or Fomento, Public Treasury, Tax Agency, Nobel, Opel, Cruzcampo….
“As a brand, it is about knowing what we are, that what we do is consistent with what we are and that the way we are perceived expresses it. In short, our job is to ensure that the way we show ourselves is the declination or variations of the same element: what we say we are”.
