Camilo Roa, Réplica
Guides the Digital Platform Design Master Project
Camilo Roa is Creative Director and co-founder of Réplica. From there, he leads the management and development of digital projects for clients around the world, creating environments for brands such as Antfood (New York), CICLOPE Festival (Berlin), Hey Studio (Barcelona), Vibia (Barcelona), MUTANTE (Bogotá), among others.
In addition to his professional practice, Camilo teaches in master’s and postgraduate programs such as the Master’s in Editorial Design (ELISAVA), the Online Master’s in Graphic Design (SHIFTA), and the Master’s in Beyond Branding (ELISAVA + Folch), where he explores the limits of digital design, interaction, and new visual narratives.
Before founding Réplica, he was Director of Digital Projects at Folch Studio for four years, leading projects for clients such as CANADA, Openhouse Magazine, Bershka, and the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona.
He is co-founder of Réplica, a design studio based in Bogotá and Barcelona, focused on the direction and development of digital projects. Camilo is currently exploring the new frontiers in the fields of user experience, interaction design, and the creation of non-conventional digital environments.
His work is characterized by a cross-disciplinary approach to design, with an editorial focus on web project development and a constant interest in expanding the boundaries of digital environments.
“Web design is constantly evolving. In a time when multiplicity of devices predominates, it is up to the designer to create innovative, adaptable, intuitive digital experiences that encourage people to discover new ways of navigating the web.”
