She has collaborated as an artist with DDS, La Sullivan, CCCB, Matadero, Becoming Studio, Arrels Fundació, among others. She has exhibited works at Blancfest, ADC Europe High potentials, GetxoPhoto, and MutuoGallery. She has been awarded with Premis Ei!, Laus Gold 2019 and Gaudeamus 2019.

Carla de la Torre, visual designer, specializes the exploration of alternative forms of communication and information representation. She sees design as a means to new perspectives, not specific solutions. She challenges the boundaries between art and non-art, promoting critical thinking. Her works oscillate between a judgment of political heaviness and humor and sarcasm. She creates narratives through installations, exhibitions and campaigns, fusing design and performance.

“Taking data as a starting point, we will seek to identify and interrogate complex socio-political issues and turn them into stories. We look for that special angle between the project, student and society, using design as a tool to deactivate the autopilot in which we live.”
