Typography teacher and consultant for the Master projects

Graphic and typographic designer. She studied at Llotja and began her career working in various advertising agencies and in some studios, notably Pati Núñez’s and her own Cosmic Grafica. In 1992 she joined Type-Ø-Tones, which to this day is still her own foundry from which she publishes and promotes all her type designs, some of which have been awarded prizes by the Laus and the TDC of New York.

In 2003-2004 she studied the master’s degree ‘Type and Media’ at KABK in The Hague. In 2005 she started working as a freelancer. She specializes in editorial design and in the design of custom type and lettering, from a logo to a complete alphabet.  She is the author of TypoMag, typography in magazines and co-author of How to Create Typographies, from Sketch to Screen, published by Tipo e.

“My typography classes are focused as a workshop where theory classes are combined with practice and where there is a continuous exchange between students and teacher. The aim is to establish knowledge and provide tools for the development of their projects”.
