Toni Llàcer

Teaches Context and Research in the MVD, and Research Methodologies in the MADD

Toni Llàcer is a multidisciplinary researcher in Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Sociology by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he has worked as a member of the group GSADI. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Universitat de Barcelona (Academic Excellence Award). He is professor in Elisava and consultant for several projects and institutions, like Domestic Data Streamers or the FADfest.

So, in order to face the current social and ecological challenges, designers must reflect on the economic and political structures that have brought us here. This analysis will allow them to provide solutions that address the causes of problems, and not just their consequences.”
