Esteban Piacentino, Domestic Data Streamers

Teaches Statistics — Data as a Raw Material

Degree in Industrial Engineering (BSc & MSc) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Throughout his professional career, he has specialised in information sciences. His work focuses on data analysis and processing, visualisation and automation. He also experiments with generative art and data generation. Esteban currently works in Domestic Data Streamers between the Research and Technology departments as a data scientist.

“The big problem in statistics is not a mathematical one, but a human one. When we analyse data, we have to ensure that we are impartial and rigorous with the information we provide. Our aim is to explain reality as it is, bringing the data closer to the people so that everyone can draw their own conclusions.”
